Windfall: Move Single Items Via Item Details

There are multiple ways you can move items in Windfall. With every method, the end result will have your inventory in a new location. This document will go over moving a single piece of inventory through the ‘Items Details’ tab.

Find the Inventory

Select the customer, and navigate to the ‘Inventory’ tab. Then find the appropriate inventory piece from the inventory grid.

Select the inventory piece by clicking the check box to the left of the item. The click the ‘View’ button at the top of the page.

Edit the Location

Once the ‘Item Detail’ screen pops up, navigate to the ‘Locations’ tab. Then hit the ‘Edit’ button next to the location.

The ‘Locations Menu’ will pop up. Select the new location, and hit the ‘Save’ button.

Check the History

Once the change has been saved, the box will close and return you to the ‘Item Detail’ screen. You can click on the ‘History’ tab to verify that the move went through.

If the activity shows a MOVE, then you were successful.
