Windfall: Movable Locations

There are two types of locations in Windfall: Base Locations and Movable Locations. Base Locations are static and cannot move. These include Floor and Rack locations. Both types can have inventory assigned to them, but Movable Locations can also be assigned to Base Locations. Movable Locations include Vaults and Pallets.

This article will go over how to reassign a Movable Location (which may or may not contain inventory) to a new Base Location.

Locations Tab

Begin by navigating to the ‘Locations Tab’ on the left side of the screen. Once inside the ‘Locations Page’ select the Movable Location you wish to move by checking the box to the left. Then hit the ‘Move’ button at the top of the screen.

In the image above, the selected vault (V001) is currently in Floor Location 06 (F06).

Assign to New Base Location

Once in the ‘Move Location’ box use the ‘Move To Location’ dropdown box to select the new base location. Once done, hit the ‘Save’ button at the top of the box to commit the changes.

Confirm the Move

Once the change has been saved, the change should be immediately reflected in the 'Locations Screen'.

In the image above, you can see that the V001 is now assigned to Floor Location 10 (F10).
